Herzliche EInladung zum weltwärts-Festival!
Komm vom 31. Mai bis 4. Juni ins zentral gelegene Göttingen! **
**Die Anmeldung läuft über den Veranstalter Engagement Global, die Freunde sind dabei mit im Planungsteam und wir möchten planen auch ein Freunde-Ehemaligentreffen vor Ort in Göttingen. Mehr Infos dazu folgen bald im Newsletter und auch über die Community werden wir dich weiter informieren. Deshalb merk dir den Termin unbedingt vor!
Triff andere Freiwillige wieder, lerne neue kennen und tausche dich mit denen aus, die aktuell an weltwärts teilnehmen und in Deutschland sind. Es ist eine Gelegenheit, Menschen wiederzusehen, die in deinem Jahrgang waren, mit denen du im selben Land warst und mit denen du gemeinsame Erinnerungen teilst. Außerdem triffst du auf neue Gesichter, kannst dich über Jahrgänge hinweg vernetzen und bekommst Inspiration für dein Engagement. Das kann direkt auf dem Festival starten.

Kosten
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Kosten für die An- und Abreise kannst du dir nach dem Festival erstatten lassen. Auf dem Festivalgelände besteht die Möglichkeit zu zelten. Wer außerhalb übernachtet, kann einen Zuschuss erhalten. Mehr Infos dazu auf der Festival-Seite.
Mitmachen
Gute Ideen entstehen oft spontan und gemeinsam mit anderen. Deshalb hast du vor Ort die Möglichkeit, dich bei Aktionen anzuschließen oder selbst welche zu planen. Das Programm Bildung trifft Entwicklung und Junges Engagement unterstützen dich (auch finanziell) beim Durchführen. Hilf uns herauszufinden, wie wir am besten auf deine Bedürfnisse reagieren können. Oder wende dich an deine Entsendeorganisation, um dich zu vernetzen.
Ort
Wir haben uns vom ASC Göttingen und dem Musa Kulturzentrum eine Stadt zeigen lassen, die voller Überraschungen steckt. Da gibt es die schmucke historische Innenstadt Göttingens mit dem Flüsschen Leine, tolle Restaurants und Cafés mit vielen kulturellen Einflüssen. Wir freuen uns darauf, gemeinsam mit dir hier neue schöne weltwärts-Erinnerungen zu schaffen!

In 2023 a festival will bring us together, because weltwärts is celebrating a birthday. weltwärts has reached the age of 15! Meet other volunteers, get to know new people and exchange ideas with those who are currently participating or have returned.
From May 31st to June 4th, 2023 in centrally located Göttingen you have the opportunity to meet new people, network across year groups and get inspiration for your future engagement, which could start straight away during the festival.

Costs
Participation is free. You can get the costs for your journeys to and from Göttingen reimbursed after the festival is over. Camping is possible on the festival site. If you stay somewhere else, you can get a subsidy. More information on the festival page.
Participate
Good ideas often arise spontaneously and together with others. That's why you’ll have the opportunity to join activities on site or to plan some yourself. The programs “Education Meets Development” and “Young Commitment” can offer you support, including funding, so that you can bring your ideas to life. You can work on something together with others, or plan an activity in Göttingen city center, a local school or the university. Help us figure out how best to respond to your needs or contact your German weltwärts-organization to network.
Location
The sports club ASC Göttingen and the Musa cultural center are both important elements of a city that is full of surprises. There is the picturesque and historic city center of Göttingen, the river Leine, a colorful mix of activities for young and old, and great restaurants and cafés with many cultural influences. We look forward to creating new beautiful weltwärts memories with you here!
